To me, it means that I was, at one time, leading a sinful life & had little faith & hope in the Lord. Now, I have been reborn, repented my sins & I have faith that God has shown me His amazing grace. I live according to His word, I trust in Him & that He loves me unconditionally (despite my sinful past), & that He will lead me closer to Him.
I am a child of God….
