In God We Trust This Election

It has been quite a stressful and emotional ride leading up to this monumental election next week. I have seen friends and family argue over their views, even belittling loved ones for having their own opinions that don’t line up with their views and opinions. Let’s face it, we all have our own opinions on the topics and the candidates at hand, and being hurtful or arguing about them mostly likely will not change someone else’s opinions, but it could or will hurt some relationships!

I feel VERY strongly and am passionate about fixing the “issues” we face as a nation, and making change for the better, but my worries may be different from many others. Everyone is different and has different opinions, and as Christians, we do need to respect and love each other in spite of those differences, but must not be influenced to waver from our convictions and the truth!

{Ephesians 4:14} Then we will no longer be immature like children. We won’t be tossed and blown about by every wind of new teaching. We will not be influenced when people try to trick us with lies so clever they sound like the truth.

For instance, being a Christian homeschooling mother, I want the freedom (right) to choose what kind of education is best for OUR boys. I am extremely passionate about this knowing that this is what God has called me to do and that this is what is best for OUR family! I truly don’t believe that this is a “right” that should be taken away from us, as parents, whether it is what the majority is doing or not! Truly, who knows my boys better than I do? After all, I am their mother and God entrusted me with the responsibility of raising them.

{Psalms 127:3} Children are a gift from the Lord; they are a reward from him.

I don’t feel that I should be “forced” to send them off the majority of the day and have them educated by others when I am very willing and capable! We feel that being able to homeschool is an absolute blessing to our family! Although we have strong convictions about homeschooling our family and that families have the right to choose to do so, we would NEVER judge someone who sends their child off to school daily. Homeschooling is just what we believe is best for OUR family and we want the choice to choose!

{Joshua  24:15} But for me and my family, we will serve the Lord!

I also worry about our country’s security/safety, our veterans, our jobs, our law enforcement officials, our “American rights,” and the list goes on! Our country needs to make our people top priority! We need change, we need healing, and most of all…we need God!

{2 Chronicles 7:14} if my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and I will forgive their sin and will heal their land.

“In God We Trust” should always be the root of our country’s foundation, just as our “Founding Fathers” intended it to be, and I believe changing that will be detrimental to our country!

{Romans 8:31} What, then, shall we say in response to these things? If God is for us, who can be against us?

Yes, I am a pro-homeschooling, pro-life, pro-gun, pro-God, proud American woman! I feel strongly that our country needs a BIG CHANGE to ensure a bright future for our children, for they will be the ones that will have to live with our choices when they are adults!

{Proverbs 22:6} Train up a child in the way he should go: and when he is old, he will not depart from it.

I intend to vote for the candidate who will address the majority of my concerns and will weigh my vote more on the present situations that have been detrimental to our country than about the things said & done years ago! After all, WORDS ARE JUST WORDS… ACTIONS DO SPEAK MUCH LOUDER THAN WORDS!!!!!

PLEASE pray for the election & our country!

{1 Timothy 2:1‭-‬2} I urge you, first of all, to pray for all people. Ask God to help them; intercede on their behalf, and give thanks for them. Pray this way for kings and all who are in authority so that we can live peaceful and quiet lives marked by godliness and dignity.

And REMEMBER TO VOTE NOVEMBER 8TH, because your vote MATTERS!

Love & blessings. . .

    I love your post beautiful.
It is tough to vote when there is no set answer for all of our concerns.
I will vote my conscience and pray that the issues I am not in love with will be squared away in the House and Senate when it comes to change.
I pray for America to be United in love again.
God is what is missing. When they started taking our Almighty Father out of America is when we ceased to be a United Nation.

Thank you my sweet friend…amen! It just makes me sad that we, as a country, are so divided and are moving farther from God. All we can do is pray & have faith!
Blessings & love to you & your family ♡
